You play as Sora, a boy whose island is overrun by dark creatures called Heartless.
With his magical weapon, the Keyblade, he travels through various Disney worlds to find his friends Riku and Kairi and defeat the darkness.
Along the way, he receives help from Donald Duck and Goofy, who are traveling on behalf of King Mickey.
